man looking up - smallWritten By: David Gilbert

We will always find time for what is important to us. If it is a priority we will make the time.

Our faith and our relationship with God are important and should be our first priority. We know this but we constantly struggle to find the time due to the daily grind of work, family, chores, etc. taking over and vying for our time

It is important to take stock and realign our priorities. If making God is a priority then we will make the time and re-double our efforts.

Time is the scarcest of all resources – it is non-renewable and it is limited. Not having enough time in a day is a great factor that affects the amount of time we have for God. But are we really too busy to spend 30 – 60 minutes a day with the Lord? Imagine if you only saw your spouse (or significant other) for 60 minutes once a week and only spoke to them on the phone the odd time for 1-3 minutes when it was convenient for you – you wouldn’t have much of a relationship (and your marriage might become strained over time). It is no different than with our relationship with God.

How much time do we spend watching TV, scrolling our phones or surfing the internet each day? What if we offered those time wasters as a gift to God and spent that time instead with God and those around us?

If something is a priority it will happen. Where there is a will there is a way.

Christ is always there, waiting for us. He is waiting for you.
