When it comes to our faith Christ wants us to be all in. Not half way or when you feel like it… He wants us all in. He says, “I know your works; you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were either cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spit you out of my mouth” (Revelations 3:15-16).
It is easier said than done with all the many distractions, temptations, and demands that modern life puts on us. However, we need to make a choice. Sometimes we do not want to make the difficult choice and God (in His Divine Wisdom) puts us into a situation that forces us to make that choice.
Look around our world and country – never before in history have Christians had to live their faith in such a heroic manner since the time of the early Church.
It is vital for our salvation and the spread of the Gospel that we make the choice and start living our faith heroically. As Bishop Jenky said, “We can no longer be Catholics by accident, but instead Catholics by conviction. The days in which we live now require heroic Catholicism, not casual Catholicism. We can no longer be Catholics by accident, but instead Catholics by conviction.”
I encourage you to go “all in” for Christ. Souls are on the line. The stakes are too high not to.
